People like that shouldn't be allowed to breathe, let alone drive. Especially as she already knew that shifting into neutral would sort it out. You can sort of see why some of these medieval societies in the middle east won't let women drive.

Oh, the old "disengage forward drive" trick - I wonder whether that might have worked this time as well? It might even beat the "unleash honk" plan...Iman said she had a similar problem last year when her car accelerator failed inside RAK, adding that she managed to stop it with the help of her brother, who told her by phone to move the gear to the neutral position.

Keyless entry. So no. And if the electrics have failed to the point where you can't open the window, you can't even bin the card. They did have a Renault Tech on the phone making suggestions.....^^^^^^^^^

What's more amazing it he unleashed his honk for as far as he did, and safely.
As it was adapted for disabled use it would have been an auto. Simply slip the box into reverse and the engine will die immediately.

How about just neutral instead of reverse and apply the brake or guide it somewhere safe?
