I have a feeling I should have put this in the Bear Pit but what the hell:

Some very special quotes in there.
"A man of little significance"
'Iman said she had a similar problem last year when her car accelerator failed' Hum ok....
Doesn't say if she tried the brakes at all........
Lol - i have actually, and you're right. It's like Dodgems out there!!
"rolls eyes"
Any subsequent description of her would be too rude for this forum.
People like that shouldn't be allowed to breathe, let alone drive. Especially as she already knew that shifting into neutral would sort it out. You can sort of see why some of these medieval societies in the middle east won't let women drive.
4000000000000000000000 square miles of desert to the right.
4000000000000000000000 square miles of desert to the left.
Hits cars in front.
Oh, the old "disengage forward drive" trick - I wonder whether that might have worked this time as well? It might even beat the "unleash honk" plan...Iman said she had a similar problem last year when her car accelerator failed inside RAK, adding that she managed to stop it with the help of her brother, who told her by phone to move the gear to the neutral position.

so she had brakes or, clutch if it wasn't an auto or, move it to neutral or park or, key or, button to turn it off, so she decided to crash instead!
cars are so complicated

Well, that's a relief!her Mazda four wheel car
Well, I'll say it.
Dozy cow.
It reads like a North Korean news agency piece - in the first paragraph it states that she "demonstrated great courage to save family lives when she rammed her car into other vehicles". In that case I demonstrate great courage and save many lives on the way home from the pub in my landie every night*
* actual events did not happen. I own a Kia for a start.
PMSL here. What a fantastic find!
"""I unleashed my car honk to alert the other drivers,"""
as already stated says it all!! What? I unleashed my car honk to alert the other drivers,...... that I was doing 90mph and didn't know
where my chuffin break pedal was.?
I think I will unleash my honk tonight.....
I might make up a T-shirt saying "Unleash the Honk"
ahead of you mate!

Ahead..as in 16 minutes behind ;)

I read that one too. Do these vehicles not have ignition switches
Keyless entry. So no. And if the electrics have failed to the point where you can't open the window, you can't even bin the card. They did have a Renault Tech on the phone making suggestions.....
What's more amazing it he unleashed his honk for as far as he did, and safely.
As it was adapted for disabled use it would have been an auto. Simply slip the box into reverse and the engine will die immediately.
Chris
How about just neutral instead of reverse and apply the brake or guide it somewhere safe?
