I do like the Steinharts but would prefer them in the same dimensions as the original - any ideas for that apart from the Marcello?

From a price and resale POV, there is only one - Tudor 76100 or 79090
Err, that's not a homage, but the real thing IMHO...
Nothing comes close to it on quality/value.
Picked this up off the SC- really nice quality peice
I'm not sure why you're being so aggressive, maybe its your time of the month - or something - however the point that i was making is simple.
Good value can manifested itself in many ways, one way is a cheap watch that costs £20, last for about a year of two, and then goes in the bin. The other way to look at good value is that you invest an amount of money in something that will appreciate in value and give you an asset on which value can be re-imbursed.
A Tudor 79090 or 76100 can be had for £1200(ish) if you look around, so you invest £1200 now, and sell it in two years for £1500 (approx). Why is that not good value.
Has anyone mentioned these yet?
It's not at true diver but many of us don't get our watches wet anyway... has the looks, it's smaller than a Steinhart and it's an Orient, so good movement assured.
