Indeed - fingers crossed for Andy.

Nice to be able to watch it on the Beeb too.

Hope first prize is a personality . Great player but one of the most boring people in history .

    Go Murray

I must say, I'm not a big fan of either of them. Just as exciting as watching a Serena vs Venus final...

Grow up. Even if he did say what he did, he was referring to a team sport, not an individual. I don't get what all the fuss was about that particular comment.

Go Murray. Do Scotland and Britain proud.

How many times does this bull have to come up before the knuckle draggers realise it's not true?

I like Murray - he's a winner (although maybe not today having blinked first )

Not sure there is anyone that has worked harder on their game than Murray.

Djokovic was simply on another level. Well played to both players.

lol! how many anti-scottish comments has he had in the past? and those very same anti comments are probably before he actually won a slam. some of them probably cheer him on at the telly, and then slag him off online.

he didn't win today, but then djokovic has pretty much been king of melbourne in recent years and it was going to be a tough one for murray to win. murray's game is getting better with time and i don't think he is the finished article quite yet..... but he will win more slams.

as for his coach - lendl was probably the best player ever to never win wimbledon.

yeah i was hoping too. listening to my mrs shout at the telly was giving me a headache. if murray won 6-0 6-0 6-0 then my life would have been so much more peaceful this morning!

Come on chaps, this isn't the bear pit. We are all entitled to our opinions and to not be slatted of if they don't agree with yours. I don't like his personality, or his anti English comments, and am glad he did'nt win
