Not mine, but it's got to be this one
We buy watches for various reasons, but we only start to live with them once we own them. There are some that disappoint, particularly as they are uncomfortable to wear.
I have a small wrist so find some bigger watch tends to dig into my wrist. So which ones out there are difficult to wear?
Two from me
TH Aquagraph - the module made the crown postiion so low on the case that it shredded the back of my hand
Sinn 156 - Same crown issue, but because it is large, sharp-edged and a long way out from the case.
I'd have gladly kept either if they were more wearable, especially the 156 - lovely design

I have realised that after having 4 Ball Hydro-Carbon watches, they do not fit my wrist size\shape, each one has cut my wristbone knuckle.
I tried to get on with a SeaDweller, but it was too much for my pencil thin wrist
Sinn 656.. Just could not get a decent fit....
Not a watch as such but when I bought my 3717, I got the AD to throw a nylon strap and deployant clasp in to the deal. After waiting a couple of months for them to get the clasp in, I wore it for around 5 minutes and took it off again. It dug right into my wrist.
Oh well :)
Lots of the newer and more expensive G-shocks (eg Riseman and the latest ana-digi's) have a 'better quality' rubber strap which lots seem to like but I find too stiff and plasticky. The keeper always moves too, so you have a plastic strap with a little 'tail' constantly sticking out........ Another reason I prefer a DW5600 or 6900 to all the fancy stuff!
The only other watch I sold for comfort issues was a large size PO on bracelet. Just too heavy :-(
Two spring to mind........IWC Ingy and AP RO.......both for the same reason........sharp edged bracelets, they just aren't finished niceley compared with say a VC or a JLC bracelet. .............both watches lasted less than a month.
Citizen Eco-Zilla. That thing wears like a lead ball on a strap.
The Zlatoust Desantnik. 60mm diameter
Very big and heavy
Omega Ploprof (original)
Most comfortable is a Rolex 1665 SD or my Franck Muller Casablanca .

A Speedmaster TV dial cal 1045.
Beautiful to look at but just wouldn't sit down on my wrist. Quite tall and the bracelet had quite a wide arc away from the head so it never felt comfortable. I didnt keep it long enough to discover if it would have been better on a strap.
This hooded Seiko, beautiful watch but bloody painful to wear
I can't get along with most steel bracelets. Stick it on a NATO and transformed into the most comfy watch you've owned :)
Two for me:
UTS 500m diver. No matter how I adjusted the bracelet, the watch head would slip. I even tried (after a tip) of trying two links
the wrong way round (or upside down, if you prefer), but it didn't work. The UTS rubber strap was way too light for the watch.
It was also the only watch I've ever had that was supernaturally attracted to door frames.
Stowa Seatime Prodiver. The razor sharp lugs on this one almost caused me to spill my own blood (whilst showering) on several
occasions.
I've moved them both on.
PAM Deployant is horrible as is the IWC deployant.
For me the royal oak offshore the deployment clasp and the horn back leather straps are very uncomfortable I changed for a rubber strap but the clasp still digs in,oh well nice watch though.

Hublot deployants are unbearable to me.
Also those Panerai straps with the ridiculously oversized buckle.
The AP roo always felt a bit out of balance on the wrist too.
This one.
Just too much of a beast on steel.
Look at that profile - it's more like a weapon.
the parnis sterile dssd I had was just too big
and those cheap 1980s watches I had as a kid that the caseback made my skin react and needed sticking plaster on that back
Probably my Panerai with the crown guard. Still love it though and wouldn't change it.
Seamaster Big Blue. It was fine on the original bracelet and one of Eddie's retro rubbers but very uncomfortable on the mesh. Which it looked best on. Ah well.
"A man of little significance"
On the contrary old boy, its actually a very comfortable watch to wear....
....but then I do wear mine on a bund.....
Most uncomfortable for me was a 45mm PO chrono, great lump of a thing that had to be worn very tight to stop it flopping around on the wrist, so tight that the caseback design would cut into the skin. :-(
Early 90s Seamaster with a bracelet that used to pluck hair from the wrist
All 44mm Panerai's
The main reason I stopped buying them.
Panerai Luminor, couldn't wait to get it off at the end of the day. Crown guard dug into my hand and the strap used to strangle my wrist, horrible.
Lovely looking watch though!
Least comfortable watch I have owned was a McQueen which must have been the wrong size for my wrist otherwise I would never have parted with it because it was absolutely the most lovely thing I have ever owned.
Digger
I've had no issues with Sea Dwellers, Ploprof, big Doxa divers, 44mm Panerai Pam0024 and plenty of other big and heavy watches. The watch I struggled with the most may surprise those who know my tastes. .......................it's the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch later derivatives with the sharp raised circle on the back (around the NASA engraving). I find this feature grinds on the back of my wrist to the point where I can't wear one for more than a day. Not sure why Omega have to make it so sharp?
Mine was easy a Boschett Cave Dweller.. extremely top heavy and just chunky. Loved how it looked, but had to flip it.
Omega Seamaster NZL-32.
I loved that watch, but whether on strap or bracelet I just couldn't get it to sit right!
Panerai 243
“Don’t look back, you’re not heading that way.”
TAG Monaco re-edition.
I actually have a bit of a problem with a range of square watches in general.
I did try on a recent PloProf, and it felt like my wrist was gripped in plaster of Paris.
Otherwise, anything on an expanding steel bracelet (which is why I haven't worn one for about 35 years).
It was Citizen EcoZilla and the bracelet was terribly uncomfortable.
Seiko Black Monster, just flopped about on my pencil thin wrists
This Rotary the wife got me from Argos in their pre-Christmas sale in '11. Size was ok but the crown protector was unfinished to the rear making it very difficult to wear fpr more than a couple of hours.
Ecozilla again, and a Seiko Samauri, but most guttingly an Omega Speedmaster Date - just wouldn't sit right!

marchingontogether!
My Breitling Emergency was pretty uncomfortable on my 7.5 inch wrist. The transmitter tube drove me nuts!
Also my Citizen Aquamount was the same with sharp edges on the sensors.
On the flip side, my Aerospace Avantage is probably the most comfortable I have worn.

A vintage 1950's Longines never could get it to wear right
