Wow, is that yours, Eddie?
I wonder if this one will crack the £1000?

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
is it just 1 watch? or the whole box of watches? looks like that box could have had quite a few in it.
also the third pic..... with the caseback off there is an enclosed movement.... never seen anything like that before. it might hit a grand with 3 days left and the party season in full swing!
i am of 1969 vintage. just a thought though - if i had been in a box for 43 years and was all of a sudden wound up i'm not sure i'd run all that well.
are these watches not lubricated? would the oil not have congealed? also shouldn't the lume be dead by now?
happy to be wrong, would simply like to know - it being ebay an' all that...
nice if it's kosher, but...
Not sure about a £1K, but I think it will go higher.
I doubt you will find one in better condition thats for certain. A still cheap compared with a Rolex Mil-Sub or a BPFF Mil Spec.

Whoever does not know how to hit the nail on the head should be asked not to hit it at all.

like a time capsule, pardon the pun
Lee always gets good prices on his sales, but even so...
very interesting original piece.there was one exactly the same on MWR recently.could be the same one or maybe some have surfaced having been hidden for 40+ years?
Made £1,100+. I liked it.
A lot of money IMO.
It'll definitely need stripping and re-oiling, then it'll be like a brand-new watch.

Liked it but didn't buy it. I have two, but neither with the dead right crowns which niggle. I'd like a perfect one.
