    Help sourcing a strap

    hi guys,

the type of story i'm sure some of you will have heard from non WIS friends...

Adam, you're into watches, can you find me a strap for my valueless watch with sentimental attachment please?

me: yeah sure Dave, leave it with me

thing is it's quite a weird fitting (it's some sort of Seiko kinetic)

    14mm lug width

    oem bracelet long gone

has been fitted with a CHEAP leather 20mm & then cut down to fit

i'd like to avoid replicating this solution....

but I can't find the correct shape strap...

which would look like something like the end in the picture

does this shape have a special name that i should be searching for, or sod it and just buy a nice 20mm & get the Stanley knife out

are am i just suffering because it's only designed for the oem bracelet & not leather?

    any ideas?

    many thanks in advance

Picture of whole watch + model might help.
One option is to find someone who makes tailored straps. (Personally I might go with carpet knive...)
