GO Seventies with blue dial.. There was one on SC a few weeks back, great looking watch..
So, what have I missed over and above a Nautilus (not vfm IMO), AP RO (undecided on 15300, 15400 or 15202) and YM 116622 (trying one tomorrow) Any other recommendations?

This
or perhaps more seriously, one of the nicest blue dials out there

I'm sure there was a thread recently about a new VC Overseas Chrono with a blue dial ?

It's safe to say that I like a blue dial, here are some I've had, and a couple that I would like (YM Blue and AT)
I like a blue dial. And the Arktis is simply beautiful.

Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
How often do photos flatter reality?
it's deceiving the blue dial looks best in photo and the white/silver dial the worst and the black dial in the middle.
imho however having handled all 3 in the flesh because of the texture of the dial, the Silver/white dial looks the best and black dial second best and the blue dial last! The blue dial looks 'inept' neither light or dark.
French Bleu that is.

Just to make sure I understand this post - Are you specifically talking about the VC Overseas?
I think you could be right about this particular one, though frankly, when a watch looks this good (that bracelet is just soemthing else!), I think any dial colour would look great.
The blue colour on this does look a little, well, flat? compared to some.
Blue dial Zenith Rainbow El Primero
I quite like that Longines, but this thread is proving to me that on the whole I'm not a fan of blue dials...
I have found one more:
Watches of Switzerland have various Zenths at reduced prices at the mo, including this one.

which i think looks very lovely.
and also this one

Well, as far as blue dials are concerned, my choice now goes quite firmly to the new YM 116622. Tried it on today at my AD, and found it just beautiful. The dial changes from light to dark depending on exposure to light, rather like the LV sub. The YM no longer looks washed out in the same way as the rather monotone platinum dialled version. The clasp has been upgrarded to the GMT C version, which is much weigthier and therefore gives the piece an excellent balance in the hand and on the wrist. My only concern is the price tag (just shy of £7,700) and residuals. Decisions, decisions!
These are pretty representative pics -

This pic doesn't really do it justice. I had one of these myself, but sold it on.
How about the blue Speedmaster? I don't see many people with them on forums.
love that longines verv what is the model number?
Perhaps a little over the top with its blue strap as well ....
