I have one of these, its been my daily since May 1999, only difference is that mine is full stainless with no gold bits but the dial is the same.

    Its time for a change...

Not sure if we've had a pic of this one yet?

Can't believe that my wife is prioritising the new bathroom before I'm allowed to spunk 3 grand on this!

Hey, at least she didn't say "No way" :D

My small cpontribution with the few blue dials I own...

This next one isn't exactly blue, or blue all the times... it's a blueish, purplish iridiscent colour that shows up when there's plenty of light. Either than that, it's mostly black.

No longer in my possession, but a great dial - a real chameleon. (I'm sure Richard is enjoying it now!).

I've got a feeling that letting that one go is going to haunt me for some time. Very nice dial, and very well put-together.

    and orange...

Both were Scuba Boutique Special Editions, limited to 300 pieces.

I think there's a red version too, but I've never seen.

Thanks Darren, I got there eventually! I really like the blue version, and the dial configuration is a bit more interesting than the current ROO diver.

I agree, although prefer the hands on the Diver.

I like the idea of the blue Scuba on a hornback, although i also like the navy ROO.

In the meantiume, i make do with this as my blue watch...

Mmm, confession time I think... I match my watch with my shirts...blue dial - like the pic or a blue nato... combinations like that. The Citizen fitter right in!

    Menno

To stay on topic: here's another blue watch. Sold but not forgotten...

I've had a couple of blue watches, one with a sunburst effect and one with a matt dial:

But more in line with your prize range I really REALLY like the blue/gold Submariner, the 16613 (the older one with tritium dial) or even better the 16803:

It's not my watch (yet! ), but I really like this picture!

Indeed, Phil - it's an absolute beauty: I haven't got a decent pic of mine but the dial varies with the light from a really very intense, bright blue through to a lighter petrol-blue and almost slate-grey. It really is splendid and eye-catching.
