Ok, serious suggestion now -- what if Eddie allowed those who put one or two hundred pounds towards his charity fundraiser reserve a watch? Seems like a lot of interest, and I bet it would fund a lifeboat or assistance dog or two. I'd go in for it, just to support the charity, regardless of whether I chose to buy this beauty of watch.

If you'd "go in for it, just to support the charity, regardless of whether (you) chose to buy this beauty of watch", why don't you just do it now?

Judging by your willingness to help with the fundraiser, I reckon you'd have a spot on the potential list for the watch (assuming you donated to the still running fundraiser).

It would be the English way if it were a queue.

'DNV' is one of the less fortunate sounding acronyms. I'll go with 'DN GMT' myself
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

:-) I like it. Although I don't mind calling it Shirley as long as I get one!

I am more keen to see the Timefactor Bronze watch, so I decided not to join the DN GMT list when it was passed around

I'm surprised at just how selfish Eddie is being... doesn't he know that I am going away for a few weeks and could use the GMT function on that trip? His slow motion horological release is going to hamper my current man-logic pre purchase excuse and force me to come up with another pseudo justification ;)

I agree, just let me have a chance at getting one of these gems! Any news yet on when they will go up for sale?

The reason I asked if there was any news was this post from Eddie on 26th March:

Considering it was only Monday of this week I was asked to confirm which luminous I wanted for the dial, I'd say you were a while off on your estimate.
