Fortis watches rock. Good quality watches priced reasonably.

    Good but not Good enough

I had 2 Fortis' and they were very good watches. But the resale is tough when you want a change.

I have switched to Glycine ..and am likely to stay there

Love mine and it will stay with me no matter what. Excellent build quality, comfortable bracelet and clean dial. Can't ask more from a watch

Still love my 8 year old Cosmonaut. The original black Fortis strap perished awhile ago, now trying it on an old Hirsch strap I had lying around. A bash into a door frame took out the lume triangle on the bezel a number of years ago. Still, I wouldn't have it any other way - I love it just the way it is.

    regards,
    Nick

which I enjoy wearing a lot, particularly the little valoux wobble.

The one posted by CH doesn't look too bad at all and I would probably wear that more than my mkii vantage.
Just to echo what someone else has already said. That is beautiful! I own a Stowa and a Laco, much more simpler in design and I don't find them boring.......

I really like the look of the B-42 Marinemaster, and it was high on my list of possibles when I made a purchase from chronomasters 2 weeks ago. The fact that there was a 2-3 week waiting time put me off and I went for a Sinn instead (which I'm very happy with) I do see one on the horizon one day.
Unlike some others it is the simplicity of design that appeals to me.

I like my Flieger B-uhr, it's exactly what that style of face should be IMHO

Classic design. What more could you want from this style of watch?
