Thread: One for Londoners

    One for Londoners

There are 75 Tube stations in this picture. (I gave up at 30)

Big version and full game here: http://www.lookforlonger.com/

This pic is evil and yet brilliant. Some are obvious, other took ages.

I am sad enough to admit I have done all 75!

Been at it, on and off, for a few days.

One for Londoners and others who like this sort of thing

Well done! But no clues to the rest of us who will be working at this for some time to come.

This was doing the rounds at work last week.

What's the one with the dog with green patches on its face, standing next to a cake?

    So...
Not just Tube stations, but DLR ones too.

That darned green-eared dog is getting annoying now, as is that hay bale on the hill by the footballer.
But not as annoying as the mouse...

When you're done with this, you can annoy yourself by pondering the fact that there is only one London underground station whose name contains none of the letters of the word mackerel...

Also a good exercise in trying to resist succumbing to the embrace of Google!

Thanks to OP for bringing this to our attention - great fun!

How fun can turn to frustration so easily...

I did this with my wife and the London Underground map last night.

It took us two hours, but was a lot of fun.

Cheers, it could have been one of two, I guessed wrongly the first time around.
I'll PM you if I get too desperate/annoyed with the final few. ;)

    All the best,

The little stone under Barbie's foot or the circle in front of her or the rabbit in the hole beside the girl in the black dress?

Lots and lots of structures in the far distance, some quite close together? Three separate crosses? The little mouse, tree with the crown on it, guy shooting off the roof?

  27. #27
bleeding rabbit! I thought that was an easy one but I am obviously barking up the wrong tree!! Arghh!!

I was on the wrong track - but I've stayed up too late trying to solve it and just have the glue / road repair to figure out...

    Thanks a bunch!

I got it now, but repeatedly entering Warren Street does not work how ever many times you type it!

    Yes, I like it.

Simon Harrington, Marketing Director at CBS Outdoor UK comments:

‘We wanted to create a campaign that would generate curiosity, intrigue, and interaction. The three minute dwell time on platforms, coupled with Wi-Fi connectivity not only provides the perfect environment for advertisers to reach a highly responsive audience, but it also offers extended engagement – that is to say the audience do something as a result of seeing it, be that playing the game, or sharing it with friends through social media. All our research shows that meaningful interaction leads to positive brand affinity.'

Three minutes? yer 'avin a giraffe. He's clearly never had to take the Northern Line Bank branch in the evening.
I like it as it encourages you to look, which I'm sure advertisers like, and playfully think, which I think some advertisers would prefer you didn't do.

Gosh that was a clumsy sentence.

Good point - perhaps this ad should be sponsored by TfL. After all, delays mean more time in front of the advertisers...

As a visitor to London, I find that the London Underground is incredibly efficient and I rarely have to wait more than a couple of minutes.

Not always a pleasant travelling experience but that is another matter!

Asked a cabbie to take me to 'burning outline of man' tube station - he was no help.

I rattled through these until I got stuck on 65 and since then just cant get any further.
    My problems are:
    1. The birds-beek in the tree
    2. The green things swinging over the bridge
    3. The rat on the left
    4. Straw bail on hill
    5. Footballer on hill
    6. Nuns on right
    7. Flag on building on right
    8. Wench with beer glasses
    9. Red fish
    10. Bloke with rope/screen

    AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

The cake and the dog are two separate "clues". I had trouble finding that one.

    I am stuck on 71. I can't get:

    - the cake in front of the dog
    - the shooter on the roof
    - the red fish
    - the guy carrying the rope bound tv (?)

    Arrrgh!

  50. #50
I didn't do it entirely by myself but I've got the full set of answers. If anyone wants to be put out of their misery, drop me a PM.
