    "NATO" has been trademarked...?

    NATO was trademarked in the US only a couple of years ago and International Watchman got some auctions pulled on eBay.com. My brother had some of his auctions for NATO straps pulled this week from eBay.co.uk, even though the trademark is only valid in the USA.

    The MoD object to NATO being registered in the UK for straps because they claim it's a generic term.

    yep, I had a few listings pulled from ebay US due to this.
    Zulu trademarked also, afaik

    Thanks for that information.

    I wasn't sure if this was relevent to the Uk, and by the sound of it, it shouldn't be.
