I have access to view Sales Corner, but find that the following applies:
1) There is no button available on my screen to start a new thread (as appears in Watch Talk)
2) I cannot post on an existing Sales Corner thread (to ask the above question).
I've read the guidance threads/posts in the Sales Corner, but am none the wiser?

You need 250 posts in order for that button to appear.
You need 250 posts, you only have 110, and 6 months membership which depending on the date you joined in March, you will have or will have very soon
Just whine about it 140 times and you'll be fine

There are two easy ways to get to 250 posts tbh, start a thread about Jimmy Saville or send a watch box with nothing in it. Guaranteed 10 pager.
I asked Jimmy Saville to get me a watch from SC as I didn't have the necessary posts. The box turned up and all that was inside was a note saying ' Just wait - it'll happen soon enough'
Possibly none of the above is true!
I managed to work it out for myself as have many others. As far as I'm concerned everyone else must be thick or lazy.
I searched the FAQ for info on SC yesterday but couldn't find anything. Where are the guidelines that tell people what the restrictions are for use of SC? There is a Sticky about posting in SC but it is in SC, where people are restricted access.
Perhaps I haven't looked hard enough as my access is OK (and have nothing to sell) but apart from the ongoing repeat threads on the subject which lots of us moan about, there doesn't seem to be an obvious source of the info which we slaughter people for not knowing.

Um, it's maybe a bit funny, but the information is posted on top of the SC. So, if you need the info, you can't read it, and if you can, you don't need it anymore... ;)
After about 5 seconds of scanning the thread I came across the correct answer at least twice, though it has to be said that I also came across several more sarcastic responses that were less than helpful. The answer is of course 50 posts + 3 months membership to view and 250 posts + 6 months membership to post, in case this thread gets quoted when the question inevitably rears its head again in a few days...
You can read it when you've made 50 posts but you can't post until you've made 250.

There was even a yellow banner at the top of SC for me yesterday, detailing the exact requirements. I'm guessing it stays there until you close it, so there are really no excuses for not knowing.

Shame there is no way of me being able to post to SC until I have made my 250 posts, which will be some time away. Luckily I have the ability to PM sellers, some may say unlucky ! As I have recently purchased a £3k watch off there.
