The PRS-5 was the first Timefactors watch I owned... love it. I was just thinking the other day that its not been out of the box for a few months and that has to be sorted!

I also think its one of the best watches to snap! Here are a few...

Got my display back in the post yesterday, just need to swap it over.
Not sure whether to attempt it myself or see if a local watch mender will do it for me.

Mine's on loan at the moment, but it is a fantastic watch! Pictures when it gets back from its holiday!

I bought my son one of these for his 18th earlier this year.

He loves it, and it's actually the first watch he's had that he wears all the time.

This watch is my motivation to pass my boards. If I pass, the PRS-5 will be a gift to myself. Bet Eddie wants me to pass too!

I liked the Aviator strap on the watch when it arrived, but thought I'd try it on a TSS Navigator I bought a little while ago (unfortunately no longer available). I've got it one hole tighter than normal until the strap softens a bit and adopts my wrist's shape. I think a thick strap suits the watch though.

Here it is on Eddie's black aviator. However, I didn't really like the waxy/glossy look of it or the contrast stitching. I boiled some water and dropped the strap in for about 5 minutes. When I pulled it out, I took some fine steel wool and rubbed it down a bit. I then oiled the strap with boot oil and took a permanent black marker and colored all the stitching. I think it looks much better now.

Wow you put a lot of effort into that. It sure looks good though :)
