Depending on age and condition around £1400 - £1600ish
Appreciate that this is a "how long is a piece of string" type question but for a modern Omega Speedmaster Moon Watch what would I be looking to pay. Many thanks for any advice on this
Depending on age and condition around £1400 - £1600ish
I'm in the market for one myself. A nice one went in SC last week for around £1400.
Nice ones will go for 1.5k. I'm actually after reduced 3510 version. Cheaper and smaller watch for my skinny wrists!
if i remember correctly theres a few to choose from at birmingham WOS
The watch club in London have some speedmasters for sale
I'm looking for the 3570
A full set, only 3 years old just went for £1249 on SC
That was too cheap - no wonder it sold within about 5 minutes!
Extraordinary price for a lovely piece. I'd say £1500 would have been right.
I sold mine yesterday (not on here) for a fair £1415. A good example from 1991 on bracelet. No box or papers, but in really good condition. I believe that's a reasonable price.
Is this thread;
A - a kind of 'Want to Buy' ad
B - For people interested in buying a Speedmaster so thry can talk the prices down
C - For people who own, or are thinking of selling, a Speedmaster so they can talk the prices up
Or, is it all of the above?!
Surely, the price of a Speedmaster is dictated by many things? The recent passing of Armstrong seems to have revived interest in them, certainly on here.
I think the answer, rather than the standard 'what somebody is willing to pay' is that Speedmasters sell for a range of prices from £1k to £1.6k. The price would seem to depend on condition, boxes/papers, service history, strap or bracelet, sellers financial circumstances and whether it has been 'pre-advertised' via many lovely photographs in multiple threads! ;o)
Am I grumpy this morning?!
i'm going to ask a really simple question, hoping a speedmaster guru can come out with the right answer;
how come the vintage ones range in price from £800 up to £5k?
now i know why the £5k ones are priced like that, rarity, but all the other variants?
I bought a 1978 speedy pro moonwatch for last week for £1250 box no papers so I think £1250 to £1500 is about right to pay depending on condition
they are all different my step dial 1971 looks much nicer than a new one.
it comes from the time of the space race as well.
so the price wont be the same.
