Glycine 2Tone Combat Sub on Nato

Crappy pic but you get the idea. Looks sweet on Eddie's Grey Nato.

Good looking watch, they really have ticked all the boxes with that one.

Had a bit of a wobble and nearly had it on Sales Corner. Fallen in love with it all over again on the Nato. You just don't see many around.

That's rather nice - works well on the nato!

I used to have one of the quartz Combat Subs, but it looked far too small on my wrist - I'd be tempted to give them another go with the new restyled version, as I really like the dial/hands combo.

I'm seriously considering the in2watches special Edition combat sub which is pretty much a GoldenEye without the PVD...very nice!

Lovely watch there Martin, the non lolipop hand version with non numberd dial is classier looking imho, (not that i dont like the other dialed version lol)

I actually own the prototype for that watch, it has the whole bezel in the rose gold.
They look really good and I love mine. It helps that it's a one off, but the regular version with just the detailing on the top of the bezel is also great, in some eyes, better probably.

    I say go for it!

I'll try and put some up tomorrow. I should really do a STOC, as there are a few new additions.

No, not the bracelet, although I am tempted. It came with the great vintage look brown leather strap as in the photo above and also a black rubber strap and a springbar tool.

I've just been wearing it in the evenings on holiday :)

I wandered down town to see if any shops sold Glycine - only found one and that had limited stock.
How are you guys getting hold of these?
I like the look of the green combat but would like to see it before buying (and would also be nice to know the price)

    thanks

Are the indices applied or just painted on?

a jewellers in clifton sells them (if you're anywhere near bristol) they can order in anything they dont have on a try before you buy basis

also, online i think watch-hut or watch-shop sell them

the sub is about £800 on a bracelet or 700 without (i think, i could be wrong)

Thanks for that - found them on Watchshop.

Nice pics of a terrific looking watch. Another great colour option, and I noticed the Glycine SST was one of the watches of the last 50 years...although that was according to CAR magazine!!
