I like that personally.
Though reading the subdials could prove tricky.
Ugh. Debases the model to my mind. Reminds me of a Franklin Mint plate. Not for me.
No, no and thrice NO!
Just like mentioned above it reminds me of a Franklin Mint watch that can be yours for just 425 installments of $ 12,50...
I would not want it for free; it would be sold for charity right away!
Regards,
Marc
Now I'm usually at the front of the queue with anything Speedmaster related but that is just bloody awful. I just don't get the point of it I'm afraid.
No.
If you like the design they did an Apollo XVII version with the design on the caseback where it belongs.
Cheers,
Neil.
I'm hoping the picture doesnt do it justice.
Sadly I think the pictures do do it justice. Wrong in so many ways IMHO.
We may be looking at this watch, as we would a watch we would wear.
I think this watch would be purchased, and put straight into a safe, not to see daylight for 20 years. It will probably worth a great deal more than purchase price. Of course, it might bomb.
As with all 'art', somebody will think it beautiful, and worthy - look at the work of Tracey Emin. I wouldn't hang it in my shed if it was given, and in the case of her installation art, best place for that is a skip.
As an investment, well, perhaps. As a watch to wear never.
Oooof, No!
Can you imagine the trouble if NASA used that?
"Houston, we have a problem. I cant tell the ruddy time...."

That would've been better on the back.
I agree with the Franklin Mint comment - that one is grim.
Everone to its own, but I think this is bad taste.
It's horrible, I wish they would distance themselves from all these LE's. Or maybe the design team who come up with the ideas would all develop the plague or something!
3 monthly instalments of £19.99 together with free presentation case. Bargain!
“Don’t look back, you’re not heading that way.”
No thanks! As stated - would have been better as an engraved caseback.
Awful....
Not a great look for the speedy. Should be on the back
Like the man said - Franklin Mint. Horrid. What next, an Elvis edition.
Rubbish,tat!
Sunday supplement special.
Giive me my Meteorite Speedy any day...............
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Have to agree with everyone. I personally don't like that at all. Sorry!
Arhhhhhhhh my eyes, my eyes!!!!!
Get it away!
Really? You call that a watch!

Odd. Really odd. :(
Vile!........
Pointless... and, is it just my eyesight, or is that "dial" (coin edge) elliptical? Is it supposed to be like that - the tramlines type of effect between 11 o'clock and 4 o'clock?
I think it's one of the worst dials I have seen in a long time, and to think it is an official Omega dial is just upsetting. Whilst they can still produce some fine designs IMO Omega have fallen along way in the last 20 years. The sheer class of their 60s and 70s output saw the creation of some stunning and varied designs but these days baring the designs with nods to the past I find their current range very uninspiring.
'orrible looking thing.
The more limited, the better, I would suggest.
I thought that it was the latest eBay fake when I first saw the photo. It was only as I read this thread that it dawned on me that it was actually a real product of Swatch/Omega. Yuck!
Not for me either.
Not too sure about that one,too much going on and not enough going on it seems,if that makes any sense?!?!?
