    Watch thieves cought in Latvia

Today dog smelled drugs in a car that drove off ferry from Sweden. Customs officials found jewelry and watches hidden in spare wheel of a car driven by two lithuanian nationals. They say total value of seized goods is more than 70 000£.

All of them. No fake Certinas or Berings about that I know of, especially not in Sweden, where there have been several burgled watch-shops lately.

I think all of them. I see no point smuggling fake watches from sweden hidden in spare tyre.

I need to find myself a different spaniel. Mine only finds rabbits and pheasants.

If these were all genuine they must be worth much more than €70,000? We are talking hundreds of watches...

Maybe just that the police have no clue about the value?

5 across x ~25 rows from the looks of it, ~125 watches.... mid-range Certinas etc... value sounds about right to me.

The same police who estimated the replacement value of the 'found in a drain' Daytona at £13,000? Sounds about right.

Agree with the first response - go to jail, go (almost) directly to jail, stopping briefly outside the courts for three swift kicks in the bollocks each.
