    I'm sad to hear about the death of Gene Cernan, a great astronaut who travelled to the moon twice. In documentaries and his excellent book "The Last Man on the Moon" he always came across as a thoroughly decent person.

    Apollo 10 Command Module "Charlie Brown", one of Gene's chariots of fire, resides in the Science Museum in London.

    Eeek, I know what you mean. Some buildings give me vertigo just looking at them.

    Typhoon and earthquake zone.... ooo wibbly wobbly at the top. ;-)

    The other half's daughter lives out there; their last flat was on the 49th floor. This is the view from the bed (actually a mattress on a raised box from storage). The mattress was above window height - I never wanted to sleep on that side...
