    Incoming - Archimede Pilot 39H

    Hi Community!

    A Nu Fleiger.
Always been lusting for one these & here it is.
Sterile dial, blue hands,no date,no seethru caseback & 39 mm dia instead of the common 40.
It is only one mm, but it means a lot to me.

H ist standing for historic (no date, blue hands, sterile)!
It is powered by an eta 2824-2 movement, 5 ATM WR with a Saphir on top.
Dia is 39mm sans crown @ a super slim & only 9,9mm high case.
    Timekeeping is spot on too.

    I am very pleased!
    Definetely a keeper.

    Now a few pics.

As mentioned above i prefer the ss caseback.

    More shots with other straps.

    Rgds,
    Miro

    Fantastic

The Flieger looks fantastic and I can relate to your point on the 39 mm !

You have tried it on quite a number of outstanding straps already .

    Nice one, looks fantastic.
Archimede is a much under-rated quality brand.

Very nice watch & a great brand. Excellent size for a smaller wrist. Really like the solid case-back on a Flieger!

    great value indeed.
It is the 39 mm sans crown version but 42 & 45 mm dia are available too.

Very nice watches, both the Archimede and Alpina (where can you buy the Alpina?). Pilot watches are really enjoyable watches, having only own one I think I will need to try one again. I like that they are kind of half dressy on the right leather and "sporty" on more robust ones.

    Congrats :)

I'm a big Archimede fan too - always liked the non-branded face with blued hands. Exceptionally nice.

I have one of these too (39 H). It really is a nice quality piece at a very reasonable price. I have been wearing mine a lot since I got it a few weeks ago. Got mine on the standard dark brown leather strap and ordered it with the domed crystal. Very pleased with it.

Don't think the hands are "blued" but "blue". But like to stand corrected

Congratulations on a very nice watch! How's the A/R on the crystal holding up, no troubles?

Lovely looking watch. I'd be interested to see how it compares in terms of size and quality with the PRS-22.

I am dangerously close to buying a bronze pilot 39....
It's been reviewed very well in a bunch of places and I love the look.

One site said the copper might leave green on one's skin, which is crazy -- anybody have any experience with these babies?

I too have an Archimede 39 Pilot watch and it's a regular on the wrist - a really nice, simple, legible pilot watch with an eminently sensible price tag:

OK, it's not an IWC Big Pilot but you can't go wrong for that money...
