Despite the so called recession you will be hard pushed to find any of the major AD's offering a discount on their sport line of Rolex watches.
As the title , is it possible to buy a new Sub C date with a discount direct from an AD ??
Despite the so called recession you will be hard pushed to find any of the major AD's offering a discount on their sport line of Rolex watches.
Possible but be prepared for plenty of polite no's.
I was offered a discount of 600 euro last week in Dublin, if you take the exchange rate in to account it might be worth a visit.
Mate of mine just bought one. The either or options offered by the AD were a discount or interest free credit but not both!
in london probably no! elsewhere - maybe worth a try
Depending where you go you'll be able to find a discount- may take a while though!!
Here in bristol every AD that gets a subc seems to sell it in under 2 weeks, so not much incentive for them to discount....
But you dont ask you dont get.... Maybe give someone like iconic watches a call if you've got the readies ready
I recently asked in a Goldsmiths, no movement on the Sub. They sell at full price so why would they??
No one has mentioned it so far soo.....signet card=10 per cent discount at Ernest jones..
I don't know what the UK list price is, but the Dublin AD price worked out at around £5150.
Thanks everyone , i was just checking my thoughts were correct .
All the ADs i have tried recently have said no discount and a long wait .
I have located one ( out of london ) and been offered a nominal discount , will be picking up tomorrow
I bought one from Goldsmiths in Newcastle (very limited choice for Rolex up here), asked the usual discount question and got the usual Rolex discount answer - no. I did take advantage of the interest free and part exchanged an Omega for a realistic amount so wasn't unhappy overall.
when i purchased mine and asked i was given a polite no and told that demand meant they do not require to offer any discount.was given 2 years 0% and i got the watch before a known incease for £4600.what are they now? £5300-5500?
I think Goldsmiths give 3 years 0% others I think give as much as 4 years 0%. The only way I think you will beat the high street is if you buy at the airport.
EJ do 4 years 0% at 25% down. Is it confirmed they are losing their Rolex account or is this just a rumour?
Definitely confirmed and I would actually be surprised if you could find a Sub C in one of the few EJ branches left that do still stock Rolex as the last time I looked in the window of their Bluewater store there were only a couple of old style EXPII's and loads of gold DJs etc.
Iconic Watches - £5,250 with immediate availability and that's before you negotiate with them (I've always found them open to a bit of haggling) - the Rolex's I've had from them in the past have all been from UK ADs too.
Think there is a nearly new (or LNIB) one on SC at the moment too.

Why do that when you can buy a LNIB, < a year old Sub C full set , lovingly looked after and sparingly worn, from me for £4500?
Thanks for all the replies, picked mine up today .
UK AD , discount ( not huge )
and he had another in stock !!!
