Seiko 5719 one button chronograph

Great thread & great pics - sadly the only one I have with a display back is the Reverso, picture borrowed from JLC website.
Not as far as I know, I wrote to Ebel but they were unable to give me any information other than the year...1940
What I did find out, the watch had been posted here in a thread in 2009 (I think)

Here's an early Valjoux.72 movement from my (circa) 1946 Heuer.
Much like a classicly beautiful woman - aged but still very attractive.

Waiting to be re-homed
and
I'd dearly love one of these
Thought they may have been more of these;
Not so many of these;
And a few of these;
Those Seiko movements are seriously honest to jaysus. No messing, simple and functional.
Breitling Callisto
Vulcain Diver's chronograph (unfortunately,I sold it)
Eberhard Contograf
Seiko Premier
Pocket Eterna
Cyma and Lancet
...and many more...
Neither of them what you could call beautiful, but both classics of form and function:
Cal 1310 Megaquartz from 1976
and a Cal 283 30mm from 1953
Cheers

Baume&Mercier with skeletonized Unitas movement
Zenith do make some very nice movements.
Not as nice as the others, but
Omega 1510 - as ugly as it is accurate!
I see your ugly and I raise you with ... bland
Early 90's Tissot 2-hand dress watch. It's only 30mm wide, but still manages to be more spacer than movement. Not even sure why I have a photo of this, come to think of it.

this is a great read!

Some lovely pics in here. I'd love to see the inside of my PAM or Breitling but I don't have the tool to open them. So I offer these:
