    Smile Smiths 29A

Just received my 29A from Eddie; I know it's been said before but what a great watch! Can't understand why I didn't buy one when they were first available (actually I was probably skint). It goes well with my W10 and PRS 53, but it does mean I've broken my golden rule of not having more than one watch with the same movement. The 29A is currently running at about +5 seconds a day - not bad eh?

Rules are made to be broken, so many congratulations.

The Smiths are superbly built aren't they. My 29B has become my daily wearer during the summer months it being so light and comfy on a TF canvas strap, the others are simply not getting a look in at the moment.

    Cheers

Very tempting, but I'll have to be patient.

This kind of rules is a great idea... I've tried... but we are weak, right? :)

Right. But maybe the hacking modifications are different, the two are a few years apart.

Oh Jools, you bad, bad person. Here I am, trying very hard not to go ahead on a 29A ( I breathed a sigh of relief mingled with regret when it first sold out ) and you remind me of its attractions. Looks like I need to retire to a darkened room and breath into my paper bag 'cos I still want one but cannot justify the purchase.

Nothing new in that for most of us I guess.

    Red face

One week ago I was going to buy a CWC to battle through work. A few hours of research on the Internet and despite not previously hearing of Timefactors I'm now the very proud owner of a PRS-10 for work and whilst on the website couldnt resist a PRS-29b for after work! Thanks for the advice!
