Either of these, but if really pressed, probably the Luminor
These posts always come up from time to time but tatses and collections change.
If I could own only one watch out of my collection, emotional attachments aside, it would have to be my Explorer 2. Perfect size for me and has all the qualities I love in a sports watch

Either of these, but if really pressed, probably the Luminor
That said, if i was starting over from scratch and wanted just a single watch, that EXP 2 is quite probably where i'd focus my attention though the white dial more likely.
Only one watch. It would have to be this one
This one......
This:
For me, it would have to be my trusty Speedy. If it had to be the Explorer II, then like shadowman I'd also go for the white face.
Well, I in fact have only one watch in my "collection" - fancy nothing else at the moment...
I suppose it would have to be my Bell & Ross, the only really good watch in my modest collection.
I have several watches that I would hate to be parted from, but if push came to shove, the choice would be easy. I would keep my PO LM.
I know it is a Marmite watch for many, but I love my Deepsea!
Andy
It would have to boil down to this one!
- - - Updated - - -
It would have to be an all-rounder so it would be difficult chosing between my Sub, my RO 15300, but this would just shade it -
It would have to be an allrounder so this one:

If you're only going to let me have the one, then it has to be my old model, white dialled, Exp II.
My SO-Chrono, it's such a good fit on my wrist.
Same as the OP, except the white dial in my case.
If I could only own one it would have to be this Maurice LaCroix.
Easy my SD. It is all I really wear anymore.
Of the watches I have, the Heuer Montreal
"A man of little significance"
Of the watches I own, and not counting the '70s Zenith El Primero chrono I inherited from an uncle, it would be my Precista 17C. For me it does it all.
I don't think I own it yet, but currently a Rolex GMT Master II is the closest I have got.
My current collection consists of three "premium" watches. SubC, Speedy and the Omega AT. Of these, there is only one allrounder, that looks good with anything and works as well on the bracelet and on a nice strap.
This is my definite keeper:
The blue one on the right, simply because it is an anniversary gift from my wife. Nothing will ever beat it :-)
...it would be my Speedy Pro...sold it but bought it back a few months later. The perfect watch for me (except for the poor WR...).

If it has to be one watch, I would choose something a little bit unique...
Difficult one, but the 3548 would just pip the MB2
Speedmaster Professional for me.
It's actually a very difficult question, but for 'allroundness' I think the EZM2 would just pip the Ingenieur to the post, (like Bolt to Blake)!
Mind you, the answer would have been different two weeks ago and will probably be different again in two weeks...
Rob
IWC 3717 for me. A great all rounder.
This:
Took me all of one second to choose!
Strangely think it would be my Heuer diver.

one on the right , been on my wrist for 6 days a week since feb
If I was picking from my collection, this would be my choice...
A friend has loaned me this watch for a few months, and if I could pick from his collection, this tops all...
I haven't worn anything else for the past two years...
my first mechanical watch:
My heart would pick the 5513 matte dial or the Dornblueth the wife bought me, but my head would override for something that is a bit more of an all rounder ....
