I often only reset the chrono the next time I use it. Same with the bezel.

B - of course. We pretend it doesn't matter when it's not aligned but we know it does.

had my chronospace's bezel tightened by BUK as it was too loose, but under a loop it still does not align exactly, now that's anal.

  7. #57
I'm so anal about it I set all my watches with a set square Equally, the minute hand and the second hand MUST hit the minute markers precisely. Not just the watch I'm wearing, butall the watches in the box and my wifes watch, both on her wrist and in her box (fnarr!).

I'd say it's only marginally less important than breathing but I do check it more often!

    B is my answer :-)

Have to admit that the bezel has been round a couple of times as have tendency to overshot the 12 and it does drive me mad.

I always leave it at 3. I like the pip to line up with the crown.

Mine at 12, and all those around me at 12. It is my opinion that if anyone around me does not have the bezel at 12 then they obviously aren't looking at their watch enough........
Or they're just not as sad as me.

  14. #64
Option B Bezel must line up at 12, but do not use the watch to time anything so it doesn't move.

for me the only time the bezel moves is underwater, as it should

  17. #67
Doesnt bother me if the bezel isnt on 12 everytime so id just leave it where it is.

yeah...me too usually notice later that day or after a few days, then straighten it up...mostly use it for the Sunday dinner.

  19. #69
back again, means you get to have an extra go on the bezel.

OCD about a lot of things when it comes to watches but not bezel placement. I sometimes leave it at 9 o'clock.

  21. #71
Totally ocd , whenever i buy a watch i torture the seller with : does the bezel dot or triangle line up perfectly at 12 on the dial & is there any dust on the dial or under the crystal.
I could drive myself made with it , i normally take the said watch outside and look at the dial until i convince myself that i can see a spec of dust then hate the watch & never wear it.

  22. #72
    Bah! No!

I'm moving away from this thread... I can't take it!

TWELVE!!!!!!!!! If I need to time anything, I use my G-Shock, which I never wear because it has no rotating bezel, I will not wear a watch without a rotating bezel, although I never move the bezel except to make sure that it STILL clicks sixty times before it gets back to twelve, because that's where it BELONGS

    Oh Chr**t HELP ME!!!!

Bezel Management is something that should be imprinted very early on.

Doesn't bother me particularly. I use my bezels frequently and would never bother to realign one until I was taking it off. I realise I do generally align it when I put the watch away at the end of the day....though I hadn't really thought about it until this thread :-)

As a six sigma black belt , i dont think the data can lead us to a significant conclusion , clearly it could go either way. I would love to explan This hypothesis ,but ive just got to check the position of my Bezel !

Often use them for timing, and ALWAYS return to 12. Glad to see I am amongst many fellow sufferers from ABD (aligned bezel disease.)

Not hugely OCD in general, but I do have to have the bezel pip lined up with 12. On my Omegas the bezels were a bit slippery and hard to turn, so I never had problems with them moving by accident. On my Sub I've had half a minute off every now and then...

    Back to (exactly) 12!!!

How can anyone look at their watch when the bezel is not at 12, and not reset it? It would be playing on my mind.

It's like the car radio - that must be on an even number!!!!!
