    TAPATALK FOR VBULLETIN NOW ADDED

As the title says. Can someone please check it out and make sure it's working correctly? My Nokia 6310 doesn't want to play.

    Hi Eddie,

Its still telling me it's not supported.

Doing a search for the forum in Tapatalk fails to find tz-uk.

  4. #4
I've tried connecting and got "cannot connect to forum" and when searching it can't find it.

I've actually just tried this as well. Deleted TZ from my forum list, done a new search and TZ is not found.

Tapatalk control panel shows me a green light and tells me it's installed correctly. You may have to connect using http://forum.tz-uk.com instead of http://tz-uk.com for the time being, there's a redirect if you just enter tz.uk.com which Tapatalk doesn't seem to be picking up.

    This may also affect it:

This forum contains adult or objectionable content We periodically delete forums with objectionable content that is accessible from Tapatalk Network Directory. Check this box to declare your forum contains such content and your members will need to enter at least 9 characters to lookup your forums from Tapatalk Directory.

I've tried putting the new link directly into the search though still getting "forums not found" Eddie.

Here's the image from the Tapatalk control panel, the green tick means that it's been checked and found to be installed correctly.

Same here - you can't just put in the URL - you have to let Tapatalk find it - and it can't. It maybe just a matter of time though - as it's been down for a few days it may have just been deleted from the Tapatalk directory and will re-appear later?

Because the old forum was phpBB and this is vBulletin, I had to delete the old forum from Tapatalk and register the new forum using a different version of Tapatalk. I only did this less than an hour ago.

That makes it more than likely it's a matter of just waiting for their systems to catch up... Perhaps!

When I registered it again, I entered the URL as http://tz.uk.com and it said it wasn't installed correctly. When I changed the URL to http://forum.tz-uk.com it found it and gave me the green tick for successful installation (it looks for a file on the server).

Did you have to choose a category (and sub category) for the forum on tapatalk Eddie?

I've tried searching for TZ-UK in various formats with wildcards etc and failed. But you can also browse through their listings. But my phone says there are over 36,000 forums to look through. The Entertainment / Other category though only has 800 odd so if it was listed somewhere like that it wouldn't be too tricky to scroll through the list to find it...

    It's under "Society & Culture", sub-category "Watch".

Cheers Eddie, only 54 in that section, sadly no TZ-UK as yet though :(

    I'll keep checking....

It's not there. When I pull up list to refresh it says 33 of 34 forums loaded. I guess tz-uk is 34th.

  17. #17
I've just reinstalled Tapatalk on my iPhone and can't find the forum either. I've searched and tried looking under the Watch category. It may not have trickled through the Tapatalk system.

My password won't work, and after deleting, I can't find TZ-UK in the available forum list. I think Tapatalk isn't quite there yet.

WHY DOES ANYONE NEED IT? I read the forum on a phone, as is? Is Tapatalk like Sky? Nobody knows why you need it; but you DO

My Android tablet's browser informs me the forum has Tapatalk installed but it's not yet in Watch list on the app so it must be a question of Tapatalk taking time to recognise the new forum. The mobile theme is a very pleasant visual experience and I've also set up my Gmail account to accept the RSS feeds so there really is no escape.

It should appear shortly. To those wondering what it's for, there are two major advantages for mobile users - its faster, it costs less in data.

Edit: Eddie - thanks for sorting this

Try changing the 'default' style at the very bottom of the page to 'default' mobile style.
I think this is better than Tapatalk

I agree. The mobile site is pretty damn good. Perfectly formatted on my android phone.

Plus you can use tabs which you don't get in tapatalk

    Almost

Dont see it in tapatalk yet. I do now get a popup when visiting the site that it supports tapatalk. New site is great but tapatalk is really fast and I can easily go to subscribed threads. Maybe that is now also possible with the new site but haven't found it yet.

Posting from Tapatalk right now, it's working fine :)

  36. #36
It works here too now by searching for forum.tz-uk.

  37. #37
Yep, found on my phone using the forum.tz-uk search. Still didn't show in the category Eddie listed it in though.
Also spotted that the bullingdon club doesn't appear anymore, not sure if it does for those with sufficient post count...

    Thank god for that.

Getting dragged around shopping today and need to have it working for when I'm stuck outside the changing rooms while she's trying on clothes that she won't buy.
