    Incoming - Glycine Combat Sub

Traded my Incursore BJ chrono some time back & hankered after a Glycine again.
So here it is, my newly arrived Glycine Combat Sub picked up on SC last week.

Looks good on black rubber & a suitable nato too

Wrist shot (apols for the iphone pic)

Hopefully, Jura will come good with the OEM orange rubber and I can go 'full tangerine' for the summer 8)
Nice case, no cyclops, excellent brushed bracelet (with solid end links), drilled lugs, reliable ETA 2824 inside
    Great VFM too

Glycine are much under-rated and make some excellent watches.
Love my combat - really should wear it more.

Fantastic watch. I've had my eye out for one for several years. One day...

I have one of these as well, really like it. Would be interested in an orange rubber strap as well.
Let me know how you get on, I can't find it on the jura website.

Agreed! The newer versions looks terrific! I've only had a couple of the older ones. Should have kept it, they're really good watches. :)

Since I got my Glycine Combat , its been my No 1 wearer. Great watches and somehow more comfortable to wear than any other watches i own.

Ditto. I get its the name of the range but just makes it seem like a toy. Will probably still get one at some point lol.

I've only recently gotten wise to these Glycines (the recent post on Hodinkee sparked my interest), they really seem like a great value watch.

Big fan of that Glycine Combat Sub, I've an orange itch at the moment that won't go away, have a Hamilton Khaki air race and 3 OEM straps all with orange in em and that Nato you have is a cracker... post pics when you get the orange strap in ?

Mine showed up Friday - I am pretty impressed. Very well made and a pleasure to wear. The bezel is a bit of a pain to turn, it's not stiff but it is somewhat tricky to grasp. The bezel itself looks fantastic so I don't mind much. The blue dial is not overly apparent until the light strikes it properly, it looks quite nice.

Jura were (typically) hopeless with my strap request. So I searched eBay & SECTIME had an almost identical orange silicone rubber ( same design except for the Glycine 'crown' on the strap & not vanilla scented)

So here it is fitted to my Combat Sub :)

    All set for summer
