Always my trusty Sea Dweller.
Isn't it nice when you put a watch on that you haven't worn for a while and it feels "right"?
The watch in question for me is this morning's mid size Seamaster Pro. It's been languishing in a safe place with a few others and I decided to have a switch around. So glad I did. It feels spot on on my wrist this morning (what a cracking bracelet for fit and feel!). The smaller size is going to take a bit of getting used to I think, but I'm happy as Larry this morning.
Do you have any old faithfuls that you really appreciate on the odd occasion you wear them?
Always my trusty Sea Dweller.
Precista PRS17a always feels good, pleasantly surprised every time by it's quality and lume brightness, although a little smaller than what I normally wear it always draws my eye when ive got it on.
GMTIIc for me, the weight, balance and feel are extraordinary and surprises me how good a watch it is everytime I put it on.
The 2254. Spot on.
My Kingston, perfect size and hight and a perfect dial to look at.
with the heat in our office a delight to wear on the hirsch rubber strap.
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
For me, the Seiko BM. So well balanced, weight just right, excellent legibility :thumbleft:
+1 although mine is orange. The short lugs and high mounted bracelet pull the head down on to the wrist and keep ti there without needing to apply too much pressure. It's the most comfortable dive watch I've tried.Originally Posted by Nono
Jup! At the times i thought i need a heavier and bigger watch. And when i tried them on i realized that the Monster is just perfect. Event the 20mm lugs feel ok, 22 would be out of proportion
Put my Daytona on the other day. First proper expensive watch I owned and as soon as I put it on again, just felt right.
Also got same feeling from the Bond Seamaster I've got, not worn it for a while and proportions just felt spot on.
Another one that I've had on this week is an older GS Seiko. Not as big a watch as alot of what I have, but really enjoyed wearing it last couple of days, which I guess is what its all about

Omega got it right with the shape, weight, size, finish and bracelet on the Seamasters. I don't often wear my 2531, it only really comes out for holidays, but when I wear it I always get the uncomfortable feeling that it's the only watch I'll ever need! From memory my now departed GMT2c and Tudor Heritage Chrono both felt the same (all three have quality bracelets...)
"A man of little significance"
For one reason or another, I don't wear this that often, but it certainly feels very good on the wrist. The bracelet is extremely comforable, the design simple and classic, and it's actually a great size and weight - substantial, but not heavy or bulky. It wears very well under a shirt cuff.
Casio Edifice,
My work / dress / holiday / do-it-all watch for 5-years before I got the bug.
It's like putting on an old pair of slippers.
Strange, because all my watches feel "just right", especially when I put them on after not having worn them for a while!
Even this :)
16610LV does it for me.
16610LV or 14060/M for me.
Seadweller every time I wear it reminds me how right it is in so many ways
Putting a watch away for a few weeks then getting it out will often rekindle the enthusiasm for it. That's why I find it hard to sell any of my collection; I get a watch out that hasn`t been worn for months and I instantly like it again and can`t bear to sell it.
I`m like a big kid with watches and I suspect I`m not the only one around here :)

For me, probably in this order;
2531 Omega SMP
14060 sub on NATO
Speedbird GMT on NATO
16610LV Sub
16600 SD
The others take a little adjustment - the above just feel perfect :)
It's just a matter of time...
My 45mmOmega Planet Ocean on a brown crocodile strap, makes such a difference to the weight and feel. I can't get over how beautiful the face looks, prefer it to the new model any day Mark
Also, IWC Mark XV, on the smooth bracelet.
My Fortis B-42 on one of Eddie's rubber straps. Feels better than anything else I wear, including the much praised SMP/
These three -
I've toyed with selling both the Glycine and the Tag on a few occasions but once I put them on...
They're staying!
Got to agree with number 1 in that list. Wearing mine today and forget its on its so comfortableOriginally Posted by Omegamanic
My Glycine Combat is always comfortable

Most of my watches "feel right", but some have a tendency to cling to my wrist longer than others, so I guess that's the deciding factor. In which case, the winner has to be the Lorenz Crono Sub, a little-known Lemania 5100 chronograph.
For me it's also bond SMP. There is just something with that one, it feels just perfect.
Easily the 6309-7049. Just feels like an old friend every time I slip it on.
Thanks for sharing everyone.
Well the day's over and my typical approach would be to put it away and get a different one out tomorrow but I think it deserves another day...
My SMP gives me that feeling everytime I wear it... It will never go
Bracelet just works so well and the half links make a perfect fit for me.Originally Posted by adesmith
