That's actually a really nice-looking watch; far more understated than I was expecting to see when I clicked on the link.
The blue-dialled platinum model is rather lovely, too.

I think the 3 models look good.....I'd be happy to own one...but I'd feel uncomfortable about having the presentation
box signed by Messi etc - it just seems like such basic marketing and I would have hoped that the punters with this much dough
to spend on a watch ain't interested in that nonsense

Lovely colour on the blue. Nice to see AP making a LE that I would actually buy.
Really cool actually and classy looking. And that's not something you associate with footballers, evenif they are the best in the world
Alex
Notable for being a Royal Oak LE that doesn't suck.
Kudos to Messi for putting his name to a normal Royal Oak rather than a vulgar Offshore.
I really like the look of this one. As far as I can see, there's no tacky signature or other feature on the dial of the watch, unlike most LE's. It makes a nice alternative to the ROO for those who don't want massive watches.
nice watch, good to see him bouncing back after he could not score against chelsea!! ha
Agreed, it does look really nice. If I could change one thing I'd lose the "automatic" though as it looks a tiny bit cluttered around that area of the dial
Yeah I agree, def a nice piece!
Who's Messi  ?
Daddel
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
No idea.....
Why FFS would I care what he wears then  ?Originally Posted by WatchScout

Does it cost + xxxxx euro more now it's a Messi edition?
Who?? yeah right!
I think the 3 of those are really really nice pieces.
It's far too easy to be cynical, and say he's only doing it for the cash etc etc, which is no doubt true, but that's the way the world works - everything is advertised and/or endorsed - still beautiful watches though
Fantastic watches - an AP is one i should own in a short while!
Indeed.Originally Posted by Daddelvirks

If I could afford one I would certainly wear one . All three are spectacular !
Thanks for sharing,

Lovely looking watch, saw them a while ago and the AP ROC has always been a favourite of mine, even better on a strap, unfortunately, i bet it costs more than the normal one on bracelet, and it'll come with that nightmare of a deployant buckle, the one that no matter what you do, will dig into your wrist at the side and have you removing the watch to stop the annoying feel, plus for some reason they've stuck a tantalum bezel on, after creating the new scratch proof ceramic bezel they did, wouldn't it have been wiser sticking that on?
Love it. Cant believe that im saying this but i love the dial without the tapisserie, it looks so much cleaner and elegant. Only the writing should be a tad smaller, but i'm pushing it now
Nice pieces but I would actuall;y be put off the endorsement if anything, especially at the price point AP sell at, removes all class from an otherwise beatuiful piece IMO
