They look good. Love that Shogun, the case looks well executed.
A while back, I ordered two straps from Carl. His 'Zerozero' model. A few hours ago, the straps arrived at my house. I ordered the green 20mm version for my green dialed Alpinist and the khaki 22mm version for my Seiko Shogun. Both watches are pretty rare, combined with Carl's straps, these a one offs, I think.

Nice combination of watch and strap ....
would love to see a Tuna pic on a gasgasbones :P
I love the shogun.
Looks great on the ggb too
... and on a SND (I received a request for these pics):
Very nice shogun!
For me it's a no-go on the Rolex, but the Shogun with this strap is a stunner!
Very nice combos.
However, just an observation, but are they not mounted upside down ?
With a standard tang and buckle strap the short piece is typically on top and the long below and i always thought these would follow suit.
Not that it really matters of course !
I had the same question over on a Dutch watchforum. Imho, they are correct. First, when you put on the watch, the longer end that goes through the loop is positioned like on a 'normal' strap: away from the body, facing outwards. Second, when the long end is positioned inwards, the velcro will damage you clothing when you move your wrist along your torso.Originally Posted by darrenw
Your question is a very valid one: there was a poll about that on the ATG forum and the endresult was 8 - 8! http://forum.atgvintagewatches.com/s...ghlight=velcro

Both look good, but the Alpinist is WIN.
Those look exceedingly cool. I have a couple of watches which would look the business on a GGB - especially my Sinn 140/42, which is enormous. It's also in Frankfurt for a restoration right now but I think a zero-zero would really suit it.
Out of interest, are the keepers reasonably flexible? I only ask as the Sinn has hooded lugs and I can see that accessing the back of the watch may be a challenge while fitting one of these.
Thanks for that - I need one :)Originally Posted by AIDM
Well that could be a challenging job... I owned two Sinns and I have currently a Sinn styled Lemania at the spa, so I can not determine how easy it is to attach the strap to the Sinn. But do I agree with you that there's not much 'room' between the spring bar and the case! If you're not in a hurry, I will try to put the GGB on the Lemania asap after its return from the spa. Just send me a PM so that I don't forget to send you a heads up!Originally Posted by PreacherCain

I just love my Zero Zero, to the extent that my 5513 will now stay on it for good.
I'm not sure that I have another watch that would look right with a GGB so I may just get a black Zero Zero as an alternative look for the Sub.
I like the Shogun the best.
Thanks, Menno - no hurry, my Sinn only just got to the factory so I imagine I've got a couple of months to wait before I get it back. :)Originally Posted by thieuster
Looks great Menno :)
When are you going to sell me the Shogun? ;)
