Thread: Gunny bling!

    Gunny bling!

Snapped these pics in Vegas earlier in the year.

    Gunny likes his bling.

(how pathetic is that to concentrate on the watch    )

    So what's a gunny?

EDIT: Just noticed the glock clothing, so I assume gunny = gun nut.

Not a gunny - The Gunny!

    R. Lee Ermey of FMJ fame (FMJ = Full Metal Jacket)

We exchanged a very few brief words at a after-party later in the day. Seemed polite enough and relatively unimpressed by the hype.

I watched a series some time ago on Discovery hosted by him. For most of it he wore a steel and gold daytona.

A lesser known Gunny scene, but still one of my favorites...

    R. Lee Ermey in "The Frighteners"

That's him in one of my all time favourite film: Mississippi Burning.

Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.

Yeah, he has acted in quite a few ...let us say eclectic movies

Sheriff Hoyt in Texas Chainsaw Massacre

On Deadly Ground complete with tache

    Fletch Lives

    The Frighteners, as mentioned above

Ohhh heck, there are too many to mention. Here you go, the list of his movies:
    http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000388/

The best is (of course still) FMJ

On the top three list of the best war movies ever made
