Never seen a bad Bernard Hill performance in anything, thlugh for all his well-deserved success in later years for someone of my age he'll always be Yosser.

Years ago at the height of the lord of the rings releases I sat down for a fried breakfast one morning in Marylebone - in a greasy cafe nothing posh - and sat opposite me was Bernard Hill just reading the paper and dipping his chips in his runny egg. For me he'll always be Yosser. The episode Yosser's story was incredibly affecting when I watched it back in the day. RIP
