A very close call between my Damasko DC56 and the Sinn 103 St Sa. I couldn't tell which one I wear more :D
Mine has become the satinized PRS-14
This watch fits me just right, and now that it's bb'd, there's nothing I don't like about it. It's one of those watches that, sometimes, I just sit and stare at, admiring the dial and watching he seconds hand sweep around. The only other watch I've owned, in my adult life anyway, with an acrylic crystal was an Omega Speedmaster, actually two of them. I had forgotten how much I love acrylic. It's just warmer to my eye, and lacking the glare of sapphire.
I had really thought my EZM2 would be my most worn watch, and it does come in a close second, but the PRS-14 is everything I ever wanted in a watch. I'd love to have Doug's NOS Seamaster 300, but for £345 I'll take the PRS-14 anyday :D
I can see myself owning quite a few Precista watches over time, especially as I divest of the more expensive watches in my collection. These represent the best value I've come across yet, and I'm not just saying that 'cause I'm posting on Eddie's forum!
Cheers,
Bruce

Hi Bruce,
It has to be this one:
I seem to wear it most days, generally after dinner, I have a bath or a shower, and I'll slip it on instead of what I've been wearing all day. It's a good night time watch, it glows like the very portal of doom since I had the re-dial done. It's definitely one of my all time faves :D
At the moment its the 18Q but usualy the prs 14 which is normaly my daily wearer.

That's such a beautiful watch Doug. It is much better looking, IMO, without the white gold surrounds used on the modern Explorer!Originally Posted by doug darter

I quite agree, I prefer it to the later dials. When I first got it back from the dial painter in Germany, the lume was almost orange - horrid!! He said it would take a few months to fade back, and it's a much better colour now, the same colour in fact as the lume on the old, damaged dial.
This watch is special - fom the same Jewellers in Germany, as our engagement and wedding rings
Hi,
For several years it's been my SMP, fits me like a glove! Been down to 40m with me as well as sitting on my wrist when skiing, playing football (soccer) & drinking!
But lately the Steelfish is getting more wrist time .. there's just something about this watch & I find myself staring at the dial for no reason at all!

Probably this.
Best wishes,
Bob
Without a doubt, for eveyday use, it's this one.
Probably this one, so easy to wear with almost anything and very comfortable :)
Sanjay
I spread rotation fairly even between my watches but this is the one that gets worn the most (seriously),
It really is very comfortable to wear, at least on my wrist.
But the competition has gotten a lot tougher over the last few weeks with the SM1000m and the watchco SM300 arriving.
And it's about to get tougher still... :D

Over the past 2 months I would say this one -
:)
Alan
It is probably this one:
but at other times it has been my PRS53 or my SKX007.
I always give my new models wrist time for a month or two so you can imagine there's not been much time for anything else this year. When I'm not wearing any of my new stuff, it's the Panerai Submersible, Rolex GMT Master or Explorer.

Whole chunks of my life come under the heading "it seemed like a good idea at the time".
This is a difficult one...
Pipin Scubamaster and modded DS-3 have seen a lot of use lately but when the push comes to show it´ll still be this from March -77:
ps. great thread! :P
Hello,
Since it arrived in April it is the Sub...
...it superseded my SMP...
.
Kind regards Philipp
I wear a different watch everyday but certain ones get worn at least once a week.
My Friday watch.
Saterdays watch
And whatever day I wear blue to work.
For the last few months, this beat-up old thing has been the one I grab first.
I'm still searching for an original bracelet knocked around enough to match the watch. For now, I managed to squeeze on a thick black 22mm strap.

Since acquiring it ... this has taken over the role of workhorse and goes with me
everywhere. Through a strange twist of fate, and due to the busy presentation
(when compared to the DC56) the 66 is actually far less noticeable in public, as it
easily blends with the blinky/shiny crap most are wearing. A peculiar case of more
being less.
In nearly 2 months of ownership, it?s 20 seconds fast. Who needs a quartz?

THIN is the new BLACK

356 copper,
My collecton has reduced from about 8 down to 2 over the last few weeks and its this or the PRS 12.
I am itching all over for something new and just missed out on what I wanted
So if you you bought Muddy's Tudor chrono and dont like it, let me know :D

Ben.

This seems to have taken over. For me almost the perfect watch; only two things prevent that - it would be nice to have a date and I'd prefer that the hands weren't black - roll on SB3
Have you had any chance yet to try out ... the PRS-17-Chronograph yet? (Not nudging, just trying to show off that I am very keen to see this watch.)Originally Posted by swanbourne
I can see the fascination with the REX up to the 1016 ... Doug Darter's pictures make me faint. It does feel awkward that the ZEX is closer to that watch - in outward appearance - than the current REX. But that's the way the cookie crumbles.

A couple of mine equally;the Stowa Icarus and the GO Senator moonphase. Close behind these would be my Zenith HW Platinum.

My favourite beater, worn after work most days:
No matter what else I buy, no matter what else might be more appropriate, this is the one I always reach for first. I guess when a watch and you go through a lot together, an indefinable bond between you is made. A bond never made with safe queens, or watches that sit lost in collections their whole lives doing nothing but looking pretty. I originally bought this one as a "beater" when the only other watch I owned was a Rolex Sub. It's outlasted that, my Seamaster Pro, and ? who knows ? it may yet outlast my Marine Master. It's just great.
I wear this watch about 4 days a week:
gotta be my chicken watch
you know the one where the lume fell off the dial :D
This one is on basically 24/7 and holds the title of daily beater:
Easy peasy. This for 9months............

These days it's the Wingman at home and around town, and the MB-MicroTec 6506 in the country . . . .
My most "worn" watch is the Luminox "Navy Seals" with the numbers half worn off the bezel, the paint pretty much all gone from the back plate, the scratched up crystal and the banged-up case. I'm handing it down to my stepson who is a Houston cop and wears a Timex on duty
He's getting the NATO strap that came with 6506 - I've transferred the Luminox Velcro strap (with the rubber logos removed of course) over to the 6506. It's the most comfortable strap I have!
cheers,
I rotate through all my watches on a prety regular basis so they all get around the same useage.
But in terms of length of ownership, I have worn this one the most - my first watch....
Much brassing, never ever been serviced and it still runs fine. :)
Best Regards - Peter
I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Sea Dweller I suppose.
Comfortable, tough and doesn't feel like a huge carbuncle swinging around on your wrist. :)
....and also very handy when I go down in my diving bell.
Cheers,
Neil.
If we look at the last year I'd say up until 3 weeks ago it was my PRS-14:
In the last 3 weeks I've worn my Speedmaster Professional for 2 weeks and my Citizen Skyhawk for 1 week (whilst on holiday in Paris - didn't want to take the Speedy Pro).
I suppose this is my most worn watch, by a small margin:
But it is being given a run for its money by the newly de-blinged Zeno Army Diver and my new RLT36.
The last three months have been laden with Transatlantic trips and communication, so this one gets strapped on a lot
But this one also got a kick at the can over the last month
Cheers,
Gert
This ones been on my wrist more often than not recently....
