Thread: Rolex lume colour

    Rolex lume colour

I've been curious about this for ages just keep forgetting to ask!

Does the Luminova colour vary across the range? I know the newer sports models, eg the DSSD have blue lume, I noticed this morning the lume on my 16610 LV is definitely a light green - is this a different hue than the standard 16610 or is the 'normal' model green as well? Any other variations out there?

I've been meaning to ask this for a while as I had a feeling mine was unusual. My Sub C has green lume. Anyone else?

    I my newer Rolexes,
    The Sub C blue lume,
    Explorer II Blue lume
    TT GMTc Green

As for the sub c being green it's not you just have to give it a good charge, its a trice of the eye, t is defiantly blue in appearance then seems to fade to green. If you look in photos it is defiantly blue.

The orange indices at 3,6,9 on a Milgauss GV have a different colour to the rest of the watch.

I thought all SubC except for the LV should have blue lume...?

    Rolex lume colour

Ok I'm confused. All the old style sports models had green Luminova, the new ones all have blue except the new style LV 'hulk' which has green lume? First I've heard that?

both the 116610 and 116610LV has blue lume and the 16610LV has the green lume.

i'd very much like to have green lume on the 116610LV

These have blue Lume. The only super case model to have green lume is the GMTc I believe.

To be fair. Stoo does state non GV!

Milgauss GV has green lume, bar the 3,6 and 9 markers which are DSSD blue.
