Welcome!
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, apologies if not.
Well, after quite a few months lurking around here and grappling with the registration process, I've finally made it on board.
As someone with a longstanding, albeit passing, interest in watches, the bug has now truly bitten and I now find myself staring trance-like in shop windows and trawling the deep and dark recesses on the internet for info on obscure watch brands.
So I arrive here armed with a fair bit of enthusiasm, but severely lacking in knowledge; I hope to be able to contribute in a meaningful way at some point, but for starters I'll probably just be sucking up knowledge from anyone willing to offer it - go easy on me.
Cheers.
Welcome!
Welcome to the forum.

Hello and welcome!
Welcome!
Welcome to TZ.
If you are anything like me, you might as well visit your bank manager now, as you will soon need a loan from him!
Buying and selling on here is rife, and even if it isn't watch related, plenty of other interesting stuff comes along too 8)
Have fun, and hopefully see you about :thumbright:
Welcome on board. Enjoy getting involved (and losing the contents of your bank account in due course  )

Hiya
Hi and welcome from another newbie. Get another job before you break your bank managers heart.
A hello and welcome to a great forum, its a terrible habit that is addictive and costly. :D
It's probably cheaper to go to a crack house than to visit sales corner.
Hi there and welcome, this place is awesome :D

Welcome dime bar - what watches are you in to?
It's just a matter of time...
Welcome ! :thumbright:

I wish I had the time to be patient
Many thanks for the warm welcome.
I have to agree with all the comments about how expensive this hobby can become - so many watches, so little money.
Currently the collection stands at a 50s Timor, an 80s Seiko SQ100, 2 Citizen Eco-drives (BJ2000 diver & BM6400 beater - great watches), and most recently, a Sinn 356 - simply beautiful.
To help curb the desire to acquire more watches, I've discovered the joys of strap-swapping. Now the Citizens and the Sinn have 2 or 3 different looks/characters, which goes a long way in reproducing that new watch feel. At least until I've scraped together the money to throw at a Monza or Speedy.
Cheers
Paul
Welcome chap. Would love to see snaps of the Timor and the Sinn.
Enjoy the party :drunken: and watch your wallet

Welcome from another long time lurker, recent member. I thought I would be absorbing knowledge but actually it seems I want to be absorbing watches....
Too much temptation on here.... Watch out. ;)
Hello and welcome. :)
