New strap, fresh Mojo

I haven’t worn a watch on velcro since I was a teenager. Back then I had a black “GUL” surfers watch on a bright yellow band, the coolest timepiece/strap combination obtainable and a real chick magnet.

20 steel and perlon years later some coolness wouldn’t hurt, and luckily GasGasBones is back in business. This Zero-Zero is the most comfortable watch band I have tried, and I think it suits the Explorer quite well. No eager gazes from the ladies so far though, but that may not be the velcros fault. Possibly the watch. :P

That's a really good look. I approve! A really appropriate strap for an Explorer.

When I had my MBII, I wore it exclusively on the Bremont velcro, which I think is made by Carl. True/false? Either way, it was a great strap.

With the couple popping up on the SC, I'm tempted to try one on my Breitling CA M1, but I'm worried that it may make an already tall watch even taller. Might have to just try!

When I first read 'Velcro strap'' in your post I thought No!

Then I looked at the fantastic pics and it's a definite Yes!

Been thinking of trying a velcro for some time, this has put me several steps closer to the edge. Love the no cyclops look as well, it's how they should all come out of the factory IMO.
