No problems OTA it downloaded fine and took 7-8 mins to fully install

I really hope this upgrade cures my contact page issues on my 3GS. Essentially it'll go to my contacts and then lock up so I have to reboot the phone to get it to work again, bloody annoying! I've stripped out pretty much all my apps plus all my music thinking it might be a corrupt file but to no avail. Luckily I'm not really a big mobile user but it would be even more annoying if I were.
Cheers,
Gary
yup, just did my iphone4 like that... took about 5 mins all in.Originally Posted by learningtofly

thank you SIr :)
Mine decided that it didn't want to connect with my email servers after the upgrade - re-entered the passwords in settings and all was well.
Mine turned off iMessages and took a soft reset before I could turn it back on.
Worked first time on both my i4 and SWMBO's i4 :)
It worked fine for me once I had updated iTunes first.
Had this problem, turned out to be an ISP DNS issue. https://discussions.apple.com/message/17793399#17793399
No problems for me on an iPhone 4 yesterday.
No problems at all with my 4S
I had the same issue. I find that this happens now and again after certain updates.Originally Posted by simoscribbler

Read a few reviews mentioning bugs, will see if I can restore the phone back as some apps work and some dont (speaker related)......
No issues on my iphone 4 or Ipad 2
It took a couple of attempts and it did take a longer time than normal but all downloaded and running fine
I could not get mine to upgrade OTA; supposedly a feature of the newer IOS. Had to download on an iTunes PC which was short of hard disk space (since the fantastic application blocker software on my work laptop rendered iTunes useless ); in other words a palaver.
In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.
ITunes must be an embarrassment to Apple, it's just dreadful
The PC iTunes is a very different beast to the Mac iTunes.Originally Posted by Daveya.

Well mine's gone into recovery mode. How hard can it be to get it right??? :( :( :(
