Where to get good quality zulu?

First of all - this subforum title sounds like some fetish corner, but it is ok for me

Now to my problem - I have this excellent Zulu strap from Gnomon(Dievas). It is high quality thick material.

After this strap, I purchased few others from Gnomon(Dievas) and Ebay, but none were of such quality. Most of them were from very thin material, and too long.

I managed to find this one on Ebay, about 27cm long (those other too long ones are about 30cm), so I don't have to fold the end, and rings are held firm in place, not "floppy".
While better, it is still not perfect.

There is much bigger choice of nato straps on the market, but I like zulu.

So the question is - where to buy best zulu straps? Also without overlenght, just up to 27cm max.

Are Maratac zulu straps best choice? I don't mind paying their price if the quality is acceptable. They look good on the photos, but I read that their striped straps are from thinner material, also supposedly they are long.
I found one link comparing Maratac and Timefactors nato, showing that TF is better (although I don't mind shinier material on Maratac), but TF doesn't have zulu in store.

Anyone got thick zulu from this Ebay seller? They look nice but are quite expensive...

    WestCoastTime recommended!

But I have 2 thick zulus from them (green and orange) and a thin black/red stripe. Don't know why such a difference... Also double check the width with them: I had a wrong size strap shipped twice! :?

Ok, I found the solution to shorten the zulu easily.

Take 2 coins, place them on both sides of the strap at cutting position to preserve the strap curved end, cut with sharp scizzors or scalpel around the coin. Then move the coins slightly down, to leave very very small part of the new strap end outside, then use firelighter (while still holding strap between the coins) to burn, melt and strenghten the new strap end. Not perfect but worked ok for me.

I only wear Zulus and timepiecerepublic are the best I've found for me so far (not too long, fit my small wrists!)

This one also offer great service, quality is not bad at all (re: prices), but you have to be patient with delivery (sometimes up to 1 month).

Plus, you can have customs' check-up, depending on the place where you are.

    But prices are truly amazing:)

    Dear Sir,

I must disagree. It took only six (6) days to get a leather Nato in EU 8)

I got a hint to order from this topic so thanks guys!

Why I did choose this was because my very old leather NATO (from Eddie btw but not listed anymore) was rather worn. I wanted something similar so made from the 2 parts as "normal" straps usually are but very often leather NATOs are not.

So far the quality seems to be good and the size is good also for big wrists (what I dont have).

Thanks again guys and Eddie also because given this forum.
