    Zeno Sea Hunter

Just seen this Sea Hunter on the Friday thread. I have always liked it but never wanted one until seeing the picture. I recall them being realtively cheap, does anybody have any idea of the second hand values? Any issues with the watch that I should be aware of? any help appreciated.

I believe they costed new about $250.

I had one and traded it for the same price I bought it viewtopic.php?t=166171
(most I found were about the same value)

No real issues, perhaps the crownthread was a bit short, but that seems to be "normal" (same case as the ZEX) and the lume on the bezel (yes, that has lume as well) could be more even. Other then that, lovely little divers :)

I'd agree, lovely looking watch and worth tracking down.

I have had one (from Eddie originally) for about 7 years, in the 'vintage' orange. Very reliable and no real issues at all. It wears a little small for my tastes these days and tempted into wearing it in the gym etc, has it in need of a polish and brush up. Actually the size works well for a woman also, who wants a chunky looking watch.

    Re: Zeno Sea Hunter

Just a quick note, since I've had two of these (that's my photo at the top, by the way).

Zeno did two runs of these in orange, the first was rated 50m and the colour of the bezel markers matched very closely the dial markers.

The second run was 100m rated, and there was an obvious mis-match between bezel and dial colours, the bezel markers looking decidedly "fleshy" rather than orange.

I had a 100m one and smashed it in a motorcycle accident, then sought out a 50m one to replace it.

One sold on US ebay in January for $280.

Great looking watch. The colour shade on the original 50m version is perfect. I've only seen two come up for sale since they were discontinued. Perfectly sized in my opinion but most people would say they are small by todays comparisons.

no issues. I have one exactly like in the pic in orange from Eddie many, many years ago. very reliable although it wears a touch small.

    Hi;
People have mentioned that they are small by modern standards, what diameter are they?

Not bad for £150. Particularly like the hands.

    Zeno Sea Hunter Just Beautiful!

I have always liked these, one of the nicer ones from Zeno(most have too much script and graphics on the dials for me).
The last one on the bay went for over £300 if my memory serves me right.
I wish they were still produced!
