I would suggest a great place to start is a WTB in here,
got me my DSSD and I couldnt be happier compared to what I'd have had to pay an independant dealer for one
suggestions please
looking for something along the lines of this...

I agree with you all - I'm sure there are some good guys in Burlington Arcade. But I can't stand the place other than for a window shop. I think they wanted around 3k (reduced from 4k) I don't know much, but that seems pretty steep.

If you want to buy from a dealer you could phone David Duggan, otherwise viewing the sales corners or the major watch forums and possibly eBay (but only from sellers with impeccable history of selling watches)
Look on here should be able to get one £1100 -£1500
Was the watch 'very rare'.........I think I recognise that window!Originally Posted by markblack
Yes it was... it seemed a lot of the watches were 'very rare' :)Originally Posted by TikTokTrev
The best place by far is here. Just wait till what you want comes up and post a Wtb.
Any independent dealer is going To be more expensive and let's be honest, with most of them
Once you walk out of the door they don't care a jot.
I suspect you have about the same chance of finding a non 'rare' watch in that shop as turning up at DFS and finding you've missed the sale!Originally Posted by markblack
Buy one on here as there is always a come-back if you are not happy. Most everyone will stand on any deals done and describe their watches well.
Avoid the Bay unless you are very confident in the seller.....remember the golden rule....if it looks to good to be true it it most likley is!!!
Good Luck, Martyn.
Arse-hole central - and that's not a very rare- opinion :wink:Originally Posted by markblack
