    Your "everyday carry"?

    Dear all! :)

    Don't know if there is a thread like this, quick search produced some database errors :roll: , but...

    What's your "everyday carry", things you ususally carry with you, almost always?

    This is my EDC:

    * "Moleskine weekly diary", have been using these for almost 10 years.
    * "Parker IM black" ballpen.
    * "Brass No. 5" petrol lighter, anybody some information on these?
    * "Esquire" purse, classic.
    * "Böker" penknife.
    * A watch :lol:

    Cheers,

    Andreas

    Re: Your "everyday carry"?

    There is a watch, gun, knife thread, but no recent EDC thread :mrgreen:

    Nice pic.

    Though made in Austria, you really should be carrying an IMCO lighter, but somehow the brass lighter ties in well with the rest of the EDC stuff.

    Do you guys really need to list that you carry a watch? I mean, for us it's like undies - something you just don't leave home without.

    And if you do go commando, well, that's just something I don't want to hear about from any of you!

    I figure that:

    Wallet
    Watch
    Keys
    Phone

    ...will get me through most eventualities, so that's my primary checklist.

    After that its rather variable.

    Re: Your "everyday carry"?

    Well, I don't have exceptionally large pockets, but then again I don't carry all this stuff everyday :wink:

    It's a pick and mix thing, depending on what I am doing and where I am going. I usually only pick up one of the pocket knives and/or one of the keyring knives. The mini clips are great for, for example, popping a mini torch onto the keyring for an evening walk.

    I did miss a selection of glasses - my readers, some sun glasses - maybe Ray Ban Aviator, melon, shooters, Serengeti Lamones, Serengeti LE, Animal prescription Sun Glasses, Suncloud..

    ... and alternative wallets, phone cases, phone case wallets :)

    iPhone
    Crocodile slim wallet - don't know who from but in 15 years it's outlasted all comers and is my everyday wallet.
    Longines LLD or the B&M XXL are getting all the wrist time these days
    Wenger Watchmakers knife - usually only taken to meet watch mates
    Spyderco UKPK - carried most days
    Leatherman Wave - useful in the garden/country
    Peanut keyring lighter - I don't smoke but handy for arson and other assorted random fire starting :wink:
    True keyring waterproof tube - currently has £20 in it, but also handy for emergency medical supplies
    Keyring with mini clips for house and car keys
    Leatherman Squirt - usually left on keys
    Cyba-Lite Keyring torch - probably the best performing, highest quality available for the money
    Breitling mini knife (rarely picked up)
    Gray

    This seems like a fairly standard modern "loadout":

    Week/Work
    Watch
    Wallet
    Phone (Samsung Galaxy II)
    Keys

    With occasional weekend guest appearances from:
    Swiss Army Knife
    Cigar Case
    Zippo Lighter

    Pretty basic for me -

    Keys
    Wallet
    Watch
    Mobile - though if the GF and I are out for the evening on our own I'll leave it at home

    I keep a pair of sunglasses in each of my cars and also some anti-acid tablets, that's about it.

    Keys, mobile, watch and wallet. And in summertime I carry around a pair of sunglasses as well.

    The phone?

    It is a BlackBerry.

    I had one.

    They are a very good company phone. Superior speaker and michrophone too.

    The thing in the foreground to the right, is a bunch of keys. In the US, you can send in your house and car keys and have blanks coded, so you have a more compact fold-out unit in the pocket. This does not look quite as compact/flat as the one, I saw. A nifty key solution none the less.

    An entirely different kettle of fish. I like the look of that Keyport Slide, might have to look into getting one-I didn't know anyone made such a thing. My 'thing' was a bike tool-I took it apart, and swapped the allen keys for actual keys.
