    Actually, the radioactivity would be quite a good way of determining if it is real or not.

    If the serial number on the movement was maybe ten years earlier than its actual 1951 +/- manufacture, I might be inclined to consider it authentic. But that dial surely doesn't look like a 1950s style or aging.

    Just noticed the circle T

    A dial of the movement's age would be radium, not tritium.

    That combined with the use of a trowel to apply the lume suggests that it's a maverick redial at best.

    Incidentally, some of them look okay, even if they are an offence against God...

    I suspect it's a "bitza" at best, the movement looks ok-ish.
