Hi,
Looking at the many cool Seiko divers and must confess to be slightly confused with the different models and dials.
What do you like most, and can you show pictures :-) I have to buy one soon, after discovering the pretty amazing quality of these babies.
All the best,
Henrik
Seiko Black Monster :D
It's an affliction many of us share.

Wow !!! If you have the chance to writhe the names of the beauties you post I would love to know.... Some of the specimens you are showing are just amazing.... Would love to know the exact names of the models !!!
But  WOW !
MM for me but most bang for the buck is 007!
If that was in relation to my post I have now edited with nicknames and/or model numbers.Originally Posted by Henrik Gelardi

marinemaster for me anyday
And no collection is complete without a 62MAS :)
I think Seiko divers will always hold a special place in my heart!
Here is some of my favourites that i have had over the years!
This is my SKX A55 sometimes known as 'The Orange Bullet' (there is also a black SKX A53)
Skx 013. It is the smaller version of the 007 previously referred to. For me it looks and wears better in the smaller diameter.
Samurai.......
Thanks you guys for all the replys and posts - really helps a lot. It turns out that the Seiko divers family tree is a jungle, but an extremely fascinating one !!
See so many versions I would like to own.... I get why so many of you have more than one version... :D
Nice choice and plenty of it. All you need to do now is decide which you want / need.
Pictured right is a SS samurai on a hirsch carbon strap.
Love the pics of the MM300, 6309 & 6105s.
Vintage for me:
Here are my 2
Seiko H558 'Arnie watch'
Seiko Black Monster, modded with an Seiko 007 dial
All you need is a 007 and a black or blue Sumo (I have a black one but kind of wish I'd got blue).
I got the SKX009J for the Pepsi bezel. Something a little different for relatively little money new.
Creation watches is a good source for new.
SKX171 with SKX007 bezel :thumbright:
So many nice ones - paticularly like the Black Knight and Black Monster... :D And actually even a couple of other models !
Do you get tired with the orange dials in general since they are a bit more special ?
Apologies for the old picture, but one of my favourites.
Bazz.

I don't have a photo, but it's well worth checking out the SBCM023. Very accurate, 8 year battery and perpetual calender.
Spring Drive diver aka the MM600 aka SBDB001. Aka my favourite and now only Seiko diver (liked the Tuna family a lot though :) )
Heres a threesome...

For me BFK is the way to go.
About the same size as a MM300 but with quartz accuracy and a fraction of the cost.
The more I see the more I want... !! :D
Must say my fascination is generally with mechanical watches, but the vintages posted (which I believe were quartz movements) looked great. :P
Along the way as you guys post I am goggling like mad to find out more about your watches. One thing for sure, the Seiko divers are real classy, and I can't believe you can get these kind of watches a prices like that....
And another thing: the names of these babies a great !! :D Big Boss, Tuna, Stargate, Orange Monster etc... :D
And, must say a lot easier to remember than a long code (at least for a Seiko rookie)...
My addiction for Seiko's has never left me. Love 'em.
My 6309 Tuna mod is at the bottom. Next up is my Kinetic Diver (far left). The next two are a 6309 (top) and the best Japanese Home Market 7548 I have ever owned (right).
