Cripes, thats certainly pricey. I've just responded to a post saying that I'm saving up for one of these ......well not this one
Hi, I was wondering what would be the most expensive Omega Speedmaster being up for sale or sold lately?
This one is a good candidate IMO

A bit too much for me as well  . But does anybody know if there is other super rare speedmaster models that would hit top prices like this? Well, this has not done that yet ;-)..Originally Posted by RobinTR6

Wow! The gold caseback certainly has the bling factor!
i guess the price of any actual NASA issued, used in space speedmaster would be astronomical
I imagine that it would be 'out of this world'.Originally Posted by simonsays

Iīd even go as far as to say, if up for auction, Buzz Aldrinīs speedy would probably be the most expensive watch ever sold, no?
There's a current platinum speedy as part of the 40th anniversary thing. It's actually quite nice. Very easy to spot as the Apollo badge on the dial is gold, not silver, like the regular ltd editions. I think that was about 100k, give or take.

Very shiny!

It's not rocket science to understand the sky is the limit with these space watches but I wouldn't pay the earth for some that come up on ebay... need to keep our feet on the ground else they will go, as bravo said, astronomical.. :lol:Originally Posted by Bravo73
