Now I know what my dear old mum meant when she said, " Bit like giving donkeys , strawberries".

    Re: The random disclosure thread.

When the index.dat file in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Window s\History\Low\History.IE5 reaches 16,187,392 bytes in size then IE9 stops recording the history of visited websites. (But local file history and RSS feed history are still recorded).

Why won't Microsoft fix widespread, repeatable bugs like this?

    **edit**
For the avoidance of doubt, this is the index.dat in the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Window s\History\Low\History.IE5 directory (bold emphasis added). Delete this file (from another Windows user when the affected Windows user is logged off) and your IE9 website history should start recording again. The index.dat file in the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Window s\History\History.IE5 directory (note lack of "low") can be left alone.

Why have I started all of a sudden to notice the massively widespread misuse in the media of the terms 'fewer' and 'less'?

How on earth can £80m on the Olympics opening ceremony in the current climate be justified?

And given the time frame of the ceremonies, what is that per minute?

Given what that is per minute, what on earth costs that much?
