I hate work - any work. I hated school before it. Can't wait until retirement but i have a feeling I won't live long enough to enjoy it

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Just happily waxed the SL and came back in to be bombarded by the same rubbish. WOGAN... please retire...please.....Originally Posted by Griswold
My fiancee is moaning to friends and family that I refuse to move house somewhere she'd prefer to live. Oddly enough we haven't actually discussed moving or what we're going to do, she moved into my house a year after I bought it and I'm still doing it up. This kind of thing happens a lot, there's definitely going to be a pre-nup.

Nosey question Simon , feel free to ignore it but reading your posts I sometimes wonder - are you sure you really want to get married ?Originally Posted by Foxy100

I ask myself that sometimes. She just goes into a pit of depression from January through to about March, the rest of the year she's fine.Originally Posted by seikopath

Just made a soda bread with dilisk; heaven with butter. Listening to Radio 3 but probably shift to Radio Rebelde.

The best chilli-in-a-tin by far but the Dynamite Hot is a stick too far
I wish you, your nethers, and your next of kin well if you try it

I bought a tin last week. Haven't dared try it yet.
Tried one ages ago, it puzzled me that it had heat but managed to be incredibly bland at the same time. For out-of-a-tin convenience it is OK but I won't be buying it again as I really like a bit more depth to the taste.

That's common with tinned mince and stews. Adding a good dollop of tomato puree works well, and more seasoning.
I eat this stuff regular, about once a month..........I did the challenge last week and did it in 1 min 31 seconds............
Why is it that the smallest turds make the highest splash when you poo?

I'm supposed to be writing up a report. But I got in at 4.30 and had a cup of tea. Then I thought that I'd just see what's going on in the world of TZ-UK. The radio's on, and I'm listening to Simon Mayo. The "confession" is at about 5.40, which is only a few minutes away.
I'm starting to feel hungry, and I've got a Waitrose Chicken Saag Masala with Bombay potatoes and Pilau rice which I'll cook after the confession.
I've got last week's "Mad Dogs" to watch, which I Sky+'d last Thursday. I'll need to watch that before this Thursday, otherwise this week's episode won't make sense.
What are the chances of getting my report written up this evening, do you think?

I have just made an omelette with rather a lot of cheese, I genuinely think it might be the death of me if I eat it all .. which I will, obviously. If my post count halts, please call an ambulance.
I think a lot of new TZ'rs must eat their death omelettes when they hit 50 posts....as thats when their post could seems to halt :D (or is it 250 now!)Originally Posted by SinclairS

In terms of omelettes, anything less than a quarter of a pound of cheese per egg is basically light seasoning. And it needs to be cooked in salted butter - one 250 gram pack should suffice.Originally Posted by SinclairS

I think I spotted Dominique Strauss Kahn* arriving on the plane that I was waiting for to take me to Zürich this afternoon. The paparazzi arrived about 10 minutes later; I didn't have the heart to tell them they were too late :).
