Naked Rayla today. Got sick of the bezel popping off and not sitting right so I removed the insert and glued the bastard on.

    Thanks Bob.

I always find it hard to choose between the two Dynamic versions.
Why it is hard to choose? Because I've got both versions.

Andy, I do not care much for recent IWC products, but that Ingenieur looks faaaantastic.

sparmar1, I like that Tutima even better than the chrono version...and I like that lot!

Thanks! The no-date is discontinued. Jorg Schauer managed to find one for me after a bit of pleading. The hands are the 'intermediate' ones. They have ranged from black to all blued - note the second hand isn't blued on mine. It also has blued movement screws, not that I would have ordered them, but that was the only one left.

You can get date models from Stowa easily, or the Marine Original is on pre-order. Also I think Jorg has one no-date with a chronometer grade movement left. But you can't have mine ....

Ah ... that's why. It's nice to have an original model with a bit of history already. It looks so much better without the date.

Thanks. Before I did that it was sitting in a drawer with the bezel off. At least now I can wear it from time to time.

I think it has that unfinished industrial look...... Wondering if I should paint the bezel where the insert was, but I would probably make a mess of it.
