I like it. Struck me at first as rather psot-modern, but thinking more about it, it is not particularly ironic-more on the side of clever references to what it is displating-funtionality over wit, but very clever.

E.g. the winder is a very efficient design, noting the effect of how one winds a watch or turns it for that matter, allowing in the latter, not at the expense of the former, greater dexterity and fine control due to the 'leverage' coeficcient that can be effected byt eh triangualr or side-on wedge design.

The liquidesque face-back is more variable, but I like the dea of the background of time as liquif-expndable under heat and the pressure of this. It is very harmonious with tactile qualities and an attractive qualities.

Other tings to consider too, of course-what are the specs for example?

    Sincerely,

    Pottinger :)

That looks like classic Alan Silberstein.

I have always admired his innovative approach to watch design, not to sure if I would wear one.

That one looks like it has a one minute flying tourbillon, he is a clever man  .

    Cheers,

    Ben.

I suspect that, with the natural movements of wearing, there may also be some interesting kinetic visual effects on the main dial ray skin and the sub dial mother of pearl 8)

Ben is right, this is classic Silberstein

Overall I don't like it, but the triangular crown seems it would be easier to wind.

That said, be interesting to see in real life - I find a lot of watches look good in pictures and disappoint when handled, and vice versa.

    Yah!

Not for me, although I have to agree about the triangular crown being interesting.

Even if you liked it, could you afford it? It is, after all, by Alain Silberstein and a tourbillon.

(In the scan, by the way, 'Cavir' should read 'Caviar'. Appropriate, really.)
