    A Dutch way of shopping

Designer with plenty of time on his hands I think.

Open and just wait - don't click on any of the items until the end.

    Brilliant!

An excellent shop which we use whenever we're over there.

Think I have followed link to that before on here, but love it nonetheless. Excellent way to get you to have a quick browse round the site to see what they have to offer. Why aren't more websites like this?

Hema is what you call a household name overhere in Holland. The quality of their products is always of a very high standard and a lot of their money goes into design: products, website and stores. The modern design looks appeal to a lot of people and I think everybody has Hema products in his house. Even our prime minister can be seen shopping in his local Hema store in The Hague, where he lives.

They were also the first to understand the power of webshops. They first started with a hybrid form: online ordering, collecting the goods yourself: curtains, pastry and bakery products. So, I am not surprised to see this website. Shame it uses Flash, making it impossible for iPad users to see all... I am sure they will adapt that.

Reminds me a bit of the (very clever) Honda TV ads.

Thanks for that. Quirky and very entertaining. Made me want to buy something from them!
